“My family attend church once or twice a year. I never heard the good news of the gospel message from my parents,” Amondo shares. “When I asked them to make faith and church a part of our home life, I was told by my parents they were too busy to attend church.”

Nearly a 124 million children, like Amondo, will grow up not knowing the Lord or what He has done. Most parents desire to do the right thing but often times they just don’t know how to train and instruct their children in the Lord.

Amondo remembers, “I was fourteen when I was introduced to the gospel message on a plane ride to Colorado Springs. My heart rejoiced as I heard the good news for the very first time. My heart also groaned as the person who shared the message with me was a total stranger, not my parents. How would my life and homelife be different if my parents would have shared the good news and lived this life the stranger was describing to me on the plane? Parenting (Discipleship) starts at home and my parents prioritized everything else but my spiritual growth!”
